Can a stiff door cause electric operating faults?
Yes. If the door is binding, poorly balanced or dragging in the guides, the motor and drive parts may struggle, stop early or reverse unexpectedly. That is why we do not treat every electric fault as a wiring problem. The door still has to move freely for powered operation to behave properly.
Do you check safety functions during the repair?
Yes. An electric door needs to respond properly, move with control and stop or reverse as intended where the system calls for it. We inspect the operating setup as part of the repair process, because a powered door that moves unpredictably is not much use even if the motor is technically working.
